An In Person Seven-Session Healing Journey for Parents

Roots & Wings & In Betweens: A Journey for Parents

Are You Feeling This Way?

  • Are you exhausted from navigating complex parenting dynamics, custody disputes, or legal proceedings?

  • Do covert or overt patterns of manipulation, gaslighting, or subtle psychic warfare leave you questioning your own reality or feeling hypervigilant?

  • Have you felt disappointment, fear, or anxiety because child safety and well-being have not been fully advocated for?

  • Are you carrying grief, shame, or anger from past or ongoing challenges in your family system, longing for space to process and release?

  • Do you long to reclaim your voice, sovereignty, and dignity, breaking cycles of loyalty to abusive or harmful patterns?

  • Are you seeking guidance and support for navigating relational, emotional, and legal thresholds with clarity, groundedness, and courage?

If these resonate, you are not alone. This series is a healing container for parents like you—moving through the spiral of grief and transformation, ready to step into new pathways of possibility.

Overview of the Journey

This seven-session journey companions parents navigating separation, divorce, custody disputes, complex parenting dynamics, systems involvement, and the echoes of overt or covert abuse. Together, we move with the spiral of grief, opening space for healing, grounded presence, and new possibilities while honoring your intact dignity.

Through companioning care, cultural humility, and deep listening, we create a brave, consensual container for reflection, ritual, and relational exploration. Soul-stirring storytelling, mythopoetic threads, and animistic practices are woven throughout the sessions, connecting participants to themselves, each other, and the broader web of life.

These sessions offer education, lived experience, somatic practices, movement, sound, and multidimensional listening, allowing those in the circle to engage fully with their experiences while strengthening groundedness, relational resilience, and personal agency. This is not therapy. (Please review agreements below)

Throughout the journey, we will sit together in council, sharing through listening, silence, tears, laughter, and all forms of expression. This is a space to be witnessed and to witness—to honor your presence, your story, and your courage.

We are facilitators who support individuals through complex challenges related to emotional and relational dynamics, as well as the subsequent personal and systemic impacts. Our work is informed by a deep understanding of trauma, advocacy, and the process of reclaiming personal agency. Grounded in cultural humility and respect for spiritual autonomy, we employ a companioning care model that emphasizes walking alongside each person rather than directing their path.

How This Journey Will Nourish You

Through Roots & Wings & In Betweens, you will:

  • Reconnect With Your Voice and Agency: Step into your power, speak your truth, and allow your presence to ripple through even the densest patterns of coercion or confusion.

  • Strengthen Compassionate Boundaries: Hold firm with discernment, grace, and grounded presence in relationships, parenting, and legal spaces.

  • Release Shame, Fear, and Hypervigilance: Move beyond self-blame, anxiety, and over-activation, creating space for clarity and ease.

  • Tend Grief and Emotional Residue: Give witness, presence and attention to feelings of loss, disappointment, or pain, honoring them as companions on your path.

  • Navigate Covert and Overt Abuse with Wisdom: Engage with reflective, somatic, and ritual practices to process gaslighting, manipulation, and psychic warfare patterns.

  • Cultivate Groundedness: Anchor in your body, breath, and presence, finding stability amid relational and systemic turbulence.

  • Cultivate Inner and Relational Resilience: Strengthen your capacity to respond with clarity, groundedness, and care—for yourself, your children, and your relational ecosystem.

  • Walk With Mythopoetic Companioning: Journey with soul-stirring stories, reflective prompts, and ritual practices that illuminate possibilities and awaken inner guidance.

  • Build a Circle of Brave Witnessing: Share, witness, and be seen in a consent-based community where your voice, presence, and process are honored.

This is a space for reflection, renewal, and transformation, where your story is heard, your grief is tended, your grounding is restored, and your courage is celebrated.

Session Titles & Themes

Roots

These sessions emphasize grounding, connection to ancestry, safety, and stabilizing the nervous system—building the foundation from which growth and flight are possible.

Wings

These sessions emphasize expansion, freedom, movement, courage, emotional sovereignty, and the ability to rise beyond past constraints.

In-Betweens

These sessions honor the liminal spaces—the thresholds where transformation, reflection, integration, and grief occur; spaces that are neither fully grounded nor fully in flight, but fertile for growth.

Session One: Threshold of Becoming (Roots)
We begin by stepping into the circle, remembering pivotal and magical moments that shape our stories. Those gathered connect through storytelling, council-style sharing, breathwork, and somatic grounding, meeting themselves where they are and aligning with ancestral and elemental energies. Tears, laughter, emotions and all forms of creative expression are welcomed as we enter this threshold together.

Session Two: Resonance & Embodiment (Roots)
This session deepens awareness of energy, emotion, and embodiment. Individuals learn to tune into their inner signals and the relational rhythms around them. Practices include movement, toning, council, breathwork, and somatic awareness, creating clarity and presence that supports reflection and self-expression. Sound, silence, and shared listening form part of the ceremonial experience.

Session Three: Vigil for the Held (Wings)
We hold space for what has been lost, hidden, or repressed, witnessing grief, sacred rage, and relational rupture with ceremonial listening and council-style speaking. Those in the circle engage in ritual, breath, movement, sound, and creative expression, exploring relational patterns, including betrayal, gaslighting, and trauma within family dynamics.

Session Four: Sacred Borders & Belonging (Wings)
Individuals explore energetic, emotional, and relational boundaries, creating containers that honor personal limits while nurturing connection. Using storytelling, somatic practice, sound, council, and dialogue, those gathered cultivate the ability to show up fully, bravely, and with agency within personal and familial contexts.

Session Five: Wings of Integration (Roots)
This session invites those in the circle to embody insights gained, integrating new patterns of response, support, and relational capacity. Through ritual, movement, reflective practice, sound, and council-style listening, individuals claim the wings of possibility, grounding their growth in both the body and the community.

Session Six: Spirals of Grief & Sacred Rage (In-Betweens)
Grief is a spiral, and sacred rage is a fire we learn to hold with care. Those gathered engage in sound, movement, council-style listening, breathwork, and somatic practices, exploring grief, anger, and relational rupture. Elemental allies help hold the space for emotional expression, nervous system regulation, and renewal.

Session Seven: Full Circle — Ceremony of Roots, Wings & In-Betweens
The final session is a culminating ritual of reflection, sharing, and integration. Individuals consolidate the journey, honor insights, and open space for what is emerging next. Storytelling, council, sound, movement, and creative expression help those in the circle root their learning, honor the spiral of grief, and embrace possibilities for grounded, empowered relational engagement moving forward.

I companion those at the tender thresholds of death, grief, spiritual awakening, life initiations, relational rupture, soul-rattling transitions, and the aftermath of addiction, assault, systemic oppression, and complex parenting dynamics—those ready to step into their sovereignty, transform ancestral burdens, tend unfinished business, and root into what is sacred, whole, and true.

For 25 years, I have served clients as a healing arts practitioner—holding space through ritual, touch, voice, and presence. My work is informed by an eclectic rainbow of lived experience as a Human, Mother, Certified Soul Doula/Death Doula, Licensed Psilocybin Facilitator, Waldorf Educator, Grief Tender, Song Weaver, Former LMT, and Certified Yoga Teacher. I have walked through fire—through addiction, assault, betrayal, and the sacred reckoning of protecting my children—and chose devotion, dignity, and resonant boundary: a way of holding limits with clarity and compassion so that what is life-giving may flourish and what is harmful may fall away.

I am continually evolving—listening, learning, and becoming—within an ecological web of human and more-than-human kinships, all of whom I honor as sacred teachers and guides.
